Pro-Tipp 12: Pitching-Wedge aus 10m
Now this is the typical "I dont know what to do shot" - some 15 m off the green
More flight distance means more roll out. That's why I change my club and use my magic pitching-wedge. I love my pitching-wedge.

Ball position rather in den center or a fraction forward. Hands stay slightly ahead of the ball. My weight is again on the front foot, making it easier to dive the club into the back of the ball. I dont try to lift the ball with wrist action.... why, dear advanced player?
A beginner must learn to understand, that hitting from above down on the ball is actually trying to press the ball into the ground. That way the ball comes up (it resists the ground) into the clubface.
So a landing airplane again.
Beginners: try again to keep your arms conected to your upper body. Shoulder turn is easier to control then the use of wrists. We are very close to the hole, therefor we dont need speed. Just control.
Mid-handicaper: Speed and ball contact is key. Before you hit the shot, try to imagine how soft your swing will be. You need to trust your body. Softness is the mother of strength! Keep your swing nice and fluid, your hand soft but not ice-cream soft.
Low-handicaper: Spin rate, roll out and impact. Please before you play, find the right cuarter to leave your ball in. You want to have an uphil putt and breaking from right to left. Everything else is making the game unnecessary difficult.
